Questflow Raises $6.5M Seed Funding to Build a Blockchain-Powered AI Agent Economy
Questflow, a platform focused on orchestrating AI agents for the multi-agent economy, has raised $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund with participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.
The funding will accelerate Questflow’s mission to create an always-on, on-chain AI workforce that automates workflows for individuals and businesses, while keeping human oversight in place for critical tasks.
Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol for AI Collaboration
Questflow’s key innovation is the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), which enables multiple AI agents to coordinate, communicate, and transact in real time on-chain. MAOP breaks away from isolated AI systems by enabling seamless collaboration while ensuring human control over essential decisions.
“Our vision is to enable an AI agent economy that can power any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “From solo creators to enterprise teams, everyone should have access to an AI workforce that is transparent, adaptive, and always available.”
Connecting AI Agents Through Task and Token Orchestration
Most AI agents today are siloed and disconnected from blockchain networks. Questflow solves this challenge with two orchestration layers.
Task orchestration allows AI swarms to manage multi-step workflows across Web2 tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, and Airtable, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.
Token orchestration gives each AI agent an on-chain wallet, enabling micropayments and direct agent-to-agent transactions. This turns AI agents into active economic participants, capable of earning and paying for services in real time.
Early Traction and Ecosystem Growth
Questflow has gained early momentum with recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for the Google for Startups program and named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.
The company is actively expanding its ecosystem with partners including Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 environments.
The AI Workforce Flywheel
Questflow is building an on-chain flywheel to scale a decentralized AI agent economy through four key stages:
- Create – Developers can build and monetize AI swarms using a no-code editor and SDK, each paired with an on-chain wallet for identity and revenue.
- Use – End users can deploy swarms to automate workflows with human oversight for sensitive actions.
- Pay – Real-time micropayments ensure instant and transparent compensation for AI agents.
- Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms through tokenization, enabling shared ownership and participation.
“Equipping each AI agent with a wallet is just the first step,” Xu explained. “The real opportunity is enabling agents to work together, earn, and transact autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”
Scaling the Next Phase of AI-Agent Collaboration
With new funding, Questflow will expand orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for a range of real-world applications.
As AI and blockchain converge, Questflow is uniquely positioned to connect disconnected AI systems and enable the deployment of on-chain AI workforces that are as reliable as software but as adaptive as human teams.
By supporting permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the foundation for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can transact, collaborate, and deliver value autonomously.
